Wow!!

by Gharleydude88 In the beginning, the movie is a little bit slow but quickly picks up the pace. The action pulls you in and takes you on a roller coaster ride, with surprising twists and turns. Although a bit dark, the computer animation is so fantastic, You are unable to tell real-life from computer generation. This is a must-see movie, but not for young children! words can t express how I liked this flic

by eldiablo31 gotta understand this scrpit was written before humans knew what toilet paper waz for, so don t be surprised to see a half naked viking-like king in his hall. I liked it truly in 3-D thought this is the ony way to c this movie, from the part where grendel s slobberis on the floor and it seems so close u ll slip on it 2 where when beowoulf is avoiding the tree s hanging from the dragon, making me jump in my seat thinking the branches were going to circumcise me. This is a true action movie in the full sense of the genre stupid at times but then again what action movie isn t at times makin u think yeah right just look at the poster ..this aint for movie aint for pillow biters... lol all in all prepare to be fully and completely entertained and swept away like a movie is supposed to do. cheap baby clothes

Cant Wait

by DCKMan I cant wait to see this movie! The book was so interesting reading! I hope the movie is long!! From the trailer I thought the characters were real actors, but they are Computer Generated, which is so neat since they look so real!!!! MUST GO!! The future of film making

by Gate Fan When King Hrothgar (Hopkins) is plagued by the murderous Grendel, he sends out notice for hero to rid his kingdom of the monster. The Viking hero Beowulf comes to see Hrothgar, and tells him that he has %ome to kill your monster.% Beowulf (Winstone) arranges to taunt Grendel, forcing him to attack. Solidifying his status as hero, Beowulf manages to slay Grendel, only to incur the wrath of the creature% demon mother (Jolie). Hrothgar sends him on one more mission in order to truly rid his kingdom of the creature% attacks and promises him a beautiful golden horn as a payment in return for killing Grendel% mother. Remarkably, this film is rated PG-13. Filled with tons of animated blood and gore, and several scenes of rear nudity, namely from Beowulf himself. Beowulf% fight with Grendel takes place entirely in the buff. Just when he turns around and is exposed to the camera, there is a carefully placed piece of furniture, or something else blocking the view of the hero s manhood graco baby products

Beowulf is underrated

by pamelalovesjoe This movie is rated pg13, but with its scantily clad characters, and horrific monster/death scenes, it sould be rated for a much older audience. My husbad and I took our 8 year old to see it, and I had to take my son out of the theater. My husband said that the plot was okay, but the near-naked women and graphic violence would not make this a family movie. discount baby strollers

WOW

by Taoxinglan I had no idea what to expect from this movie. We all know the difference between live action movies and computer generated imagery. However, I must say that the efforts that were put into the movie made a digital masterpiece. I was able to ignore the fact that they characters were computer images of the real actors. I hope that no one tries to get rid of live action movies, but for the real far out scifi-fantasy movies this style of movie-making is perfect. I hope to see a World of Warcraft Movie like this one. Beowulf... it of course does not follow the actual litterary work verbatum; however, it is still an awesome take on the story regardless. Like my rating says, YOU MUST GO SEE IT!!!!! I thank everyone who put the effort in to make this movie. The writer s take on the original story is great, the casting was perfect, and the realism of the images was exquisite. I love Beowulf. natural baby products

Beowulf movie not as good as book

by sebb33 I went to see this flick 2x on account of my best friend coming in to town on thnxgiving and wanted to see it with me so I went but the only good part was Angelina Jolie seeming almost nude and that was played out and my eyes were hurting from all the 3D images if u havent seen it dont worry you are not missing much spend your money elsewhere. organic cotton baby clothes

Read, don t watch

by movieslasher I was so excited when I saw that this was being made into a movie and I couldn t wait to see it. 20 minutes into the movie I wanted to get up and leave. This is a horrible movie. Sure, the 3-D CGI is interesting for a little while, but then it gets old real quick. Frankly, I was severely disappointed. It s more a distraction than impressive. The movie is faithful to the original epic up to the point where Beowulf slays Grendel. From there it strays so far from the original poem. Don t even get me started on Grendel and gore. Grendel was not scary in the least and the gore was so unreal that it was comedic. I ll just part by saying that Beowulf in the epic is not motivated by love, lust or reward, he is motivated by honor and duty as a warrior. Sadly, CGI Beowulf seems purely motivated by the sword that prodrudes from his pelvic region and his honor gets sold when it s implied that Grendels mother is impaled by Beowulf in a pleasurable, rather than fatal manner. The inaccuracy as an adaptation combined with the homo-erotica throughout this toon porn adventure made this unbearable to watch. The CGI work is the only thing that saves this film from being a huge flop. This is one of the worst movies i ve seen all year, and proves that a decent box office doesn t mean a decent movie. Please don t spend the money on this movie because its not worth it even in 3D!! best baby products

Balderdash!!!!

by juice williams If it was not for the 3D, my boyfriend and I would have walked out. Well that and we spent $21 for tickets and that doesnt even include popcorn and drinks. With that said This movie was devistatinly boring!! I really feel like they tried to do something a little different, you know unexpected of an epic. They failed on a level that I have not seen since that movie 23 Staring Jim Carry. The dialogue was way too drawn out. It was like you could drive a semi truck through every single one of the scene transitions. I just dont understand why an epic of this proportion and with great potential was made into a CGI / Anamation exstravaganza Unfortunately we saw this on thanksgiving and I was so bored that i resorted to thinking about the wonderful feast I was about to have, that is until I saw random body parts flying about in my face in 3D. By the way I love how this film was set in 510AD and Angilina is still rocking the stiletto heel (J/k) Over all its a horrible movie!! baby girl clothing
