This is my darling and adorable Ellis (5) when I walk into her room to wake her up every morning. Cranky does not even begin to describe her mood in the mornings. She is the Destroyer of Worlds. As I bashed lunch for twenty people, when only seven were expected, an old school friend of mine hissed that what she wanted to read. So here is my favorite part:

When my twins were born the only places to shop for baby clothes and toys were conventional department stores and baby boutiques, like Carters. These stores were aimed at babies, not mothers (I take that back, they're aimed at mothers' pocketbooks...). Their claim to fame was cute clothes that would make your baby one of the cutest babies on the block. Well, the times they are a changin' baby!
